Two Hospitalized, Driver Arrested after Kingston DUI Crash on Bond Road
KINGSTON, WA (July 21, 2023) — Officers arrested a 44-year-old Silverdale woman after a suspected DUI crash on Saturday, July 1.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on Bond Road near Highway 104.
According to WSP, three vehicles moved south on Bond Road. Then the Silverdale woman, driving a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, tried to pass the other two vehicles by using the northbound lane.
The Sonata initially hit a Toyota Camry driven by a 61-year-old man from Port Orchard and two passengers who are also in their 60s. The impact sent the Camry across the road to the northbound shoulder.
After that, the Sonata hit a Honda CRV driven by a 69-year-old woman from Silverdale. The collision sent the CRV onto the southbound shoulder. The Sonata then came to a rest and blocked both lanes of the roadway.
Paramedics transported the driver of the Camry and one passenger to St. Michael Medical Center with injuries. The 44-year-old Silverdale woman was not hurt. Officers arrested her at the scene.
