SILVER SPRINGS, NV (November 11, 2022) – At least two people were hurt in a plane crash on Highway 50 on November 7.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the Silver Springs Airport around 3:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the crash occurred during a training flight. An instructor and a student were onboard the plane at that time. Due to slow speed, officers said the impact of the collision was minor.
 
As a result, both the instructor and the student had minor injuries. Emergency crews sent the victims to the hospital for treatment.
