HOUSTON, TX (November 2, 2022) – Two people died after a single-vehicle crash on Wilcrest Drive and Beechnut Street on Monday.

A nearby resident informed the Houston Police Department around 2:30 p.m. and told a police officer conducting a traffic stop that a vehicle was in a bayou.

According to reports, officers believed the accident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. They found a wrecked gray Toyota Camry underneath an overpass where two people were still inside the vehicle.

Both male victims inside the vehicle were declared dead at the scene. However, they have not been identified at this time.

As of now, there are no details provided regarding the crash. HPD will continue to investigate this case for more information.
