Timothy Grims Dead, Sharon Mitchell Arrested in Car Accident on Cullen Boulevard

 
HOUSTON, TX (June 20, 2024) — A 43-year-old identified as Timothy Grims died in a car accident on Sunday, May 12.
 
The Houston Police Department said the accident took place on Cullen Boulevard near Almeda Genoa Road at around 4:40 a.m.
 
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp said patrol officers responded to the crash at 13300 Cullen Boulevard. When they arrived, they discovered a man trapped underneath an SUV.
 
Houston Fire Department paramedics also arrived responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead. They later identified him as Timothy Grims.
 
Authorities also found a female driver who they detained, questioned, and released at the scene. They later identified her as 44-year-old Sharon Renee Mitchell.
 
Additional investigation determined Mitchell was responsible for Grims’ death. On May 30, authorities filed a murder warrant. On Saturday, June 1, they arrested Mitchell without incident and booked her into the Harris County Jail.
