COACHELLA, CA (February 20, 2025) – Three people sustained injuries following a crash on Avenue 50 and Van Buren Street on Saturday afternoon, February 15.

The Riverside County Fire Department received a report of the incident at around 2:00 p.m.

Authorities stated that three vehicles had figured in a collision at the intersection, for reasons still undetermined, striking down a pole and power lines in the process.

Respondents conducted an extrication, as one of the people involved was trapped inside the wreckage.

The accident left one person in critical condition while two other people suffered minor injuries.
