KELSO, WA (December 11, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that paramedics transported three people to the hospital following an accident on 5 Freeway on December 2.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 6:15 AM. Based on a report, the victims were onboard a vehicle that crashed on the freeway.
 
Emergency crews said no other vehicles were involved and that the driver was driving too fast, hit ice on the left lane near milepost 39, and came to a rest on its side in the center lane, blocking traffic.
 
As a result, the car’s three occupants suffered injuries in the incident. Responders did not say anything about their condition.
