Bicyclist Theron Williams Identified after Fatal Accident in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (November 13, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 68-year-old Theron Williams who died in a bicycle accident on 21st Avenue on October 25.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Northern Avenue around 5:30 AM. Based on a report, Williams was riding his bicycle eastbound on the south sidewalk of Northern Avenue before the crash.
 
When he turned onto the roadway, an eastbound vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, Williams suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Phoenix police say the driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
