Maria Guerrero Killed and Billy Ray Williamson Arrested after Dallas Hit-and-Run

 
DALLAS, TX (January 29, 2024)Maria Guerrero died while Billy Ray Williamson was arrested after a hit-and-run on Jim Miller Road and Bruton Road on Wednesday morning, January 24.

According to the Dallas Police Department, while heading northbound on Jim Miller Road, Williamson struck a curb and a signal pole. Then, his vehicle spun across Burton Road before overturning and hitting Guerrero’s vehicle.

Medics took 42-year-old Guerrero to a local hospital where she died at the scene, police said.

Authorities arrested 26-year-old Williamson with a charge of collision involving death. His bail has been set to $50,000.
