SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ (February 9, 2025) – The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a teen suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Johnson Ranch Boulevard on January 22.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Saddle Way around 6:30 AM. Based on a report, the victim was crossing the street near a crosswalk at the intersection.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a Ford Ranger truck going east on the road struck the victim.
 
As a result, the 16-year-old suffered serious injuries in the incident. Rural Metro paramedics airlifted the teen to the hospital is in stable condition.
 
The car’s driver, who is also a teen, stayed on the scene and wasn’t injured in the collision.
 
Authorities closed the road as the investigation is underway.
