Serious Injuries Sustained in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highlands Drive in Issaquah

 
ISSAQUAH, WA (November 3, 2022) – Police are looking at speeding as the cause of a serious multi-vehicle crash on Highlands Drive on October 31.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Discovery Drive around 11:30 PM. Based on a report, an Infinity G35 and a Mercedes Benz were speeding south on Highlands approaching the intersection prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, the Infinity ran a red light and hit a third vehicle that was turning left on a green arrow.
 
Then, the Infinity lost control and hit a light pole, ejecting two people.
 
As a result, Eastside Fire & Rescue medics said the victims suffered serious injuries in the incident. In addition, the driver and a third passenger of the Infiniti also sustained injuries that required hospitalization.
 
The Issaquah Police Department responded to the scene and asked troopers to handle the investigation. As of now, no other details are available.
