Soldier Killed, Five Hurt after Tactical Vehicle Crash at Fort Bliss Training Base

 
FORT BLISS, Texas (July 24, 2023) — A soldier died and five others suffered injuries after a tactical vehicle accident at Fort Bliss.
 
According to the U.S. Army, the non-combat crash took place in the Fort Bliss training area at about 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 21.
 
The Army’s 1st Armored Division has not yet released the name of the deceased soldier, pending notification of loved ones.
 
The conditions of those who sustained injuries are not immediately available.

Maj. Gen. James P. Isenhower III, the senior commander of Fort Bliss and commander of the 1st Armored Division, expressed condolences to the victim’s family.
