Shomari Rollox Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Avenue N at 14 Freeway in Palmdale

 
PALMDALE, CA (June 14, 2023) – The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified Shomari Rollox who died in a pedestrian accident on Avenue N on June 6.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the northbound side of 14 Freeway around 5:00 PM. Based on a report, Rollox was near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a semi-truck pulling a trailer struck her in the lanes.
 
As a result, Rollox was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Authorities did not suspect alcohol or drugs as a factor in the collision.
 
As of now, officers ask anyone with information regarding this crash to call Officer J. Alvares at the Antelope Valley Area CHP office at 661-948-8541. In addition, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
