Fatal Rollover Crash in Highlands Ranch; Tavion Daniels and Savannah Reynolds Identified

 
HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (July 14, 2023) – Police confirmed that two people died in a rollover crash in the 9600 block of University Boulevard on June 30.
 
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office identified the two fatal victims as 16-year-old Tavion Daniels and Savannah Reynolds.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened just before 9:00 PM. Based on a report, three people were in a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on University Boulevard prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, the driver lost control of the car, went over an embankment, and crashed into a tree. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said two adults and a juvenile were ejected from the vehicle.
 
Daniels and Reynolds died in the accident, according to Daniels’ obituary.
 
Crews transported the third victim to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
