Russell Grimm Identified in Fatal Tucson Motorcycle Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (August 29, 2024) – Officials identified 42-year-old Russell Grimm who died in a motorcycle accident on 10 Freeway Frontage Road on August 14.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at West Ina Road around 6:07 PM. Based on a report, Grimm was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle east on the road at the time of the crash.
 
He was accelerating through the eastbound side of the freeway when he collided with the driver of a Jeep Cherokee heading west on Ina. Officers said Grimm had the green light while the driver of the Jeep had a red light.
 
As a result, Grimm suffered grave injuries in the incident. Northwest Fire District attempted life-saving measures but the victim died at the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
