Roy Dacke Dead in Beaumont Pedestrian Accident
BEAUMONT, TX (January 14, 2025) — 49-year-old Roy Dacke, of Beaumont, died in a pedestrian accident on Sunday, January 5.
According to the Beaumont Police, the incident occurred at around 10:20 p.m. on Highway 347, commonly known as Twin City Highway.
Investigators said a woman drove a vehicle with Dacke as the passenger. Then they had an argument, and Dacke went out of the vehicle. After that, a passing vehicle fatally struck him.
There are no reports of filed charges following the incident.
Officials continue to investigate the collision.
