Robin Greer Killed in Crash on Highway 158 at South County Road 1140 [Midland, TX]

Robin Greer Identified in Fatal Crash on Highway 158 in Midland

 
MIDLAND, TX (November 26, 2023) – Officials identified 49-year-old Robin Lynn Vance Greer of Odessa who died in a crash on Highway 158 on November 19.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at South County Road 1140 around 7:15 PM. Based on a report, Greer was driving a 2005 Ford Escape northbound on South County Road 1140 prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, 68-year-old Carl Lee Tucker of Bangs was driving a 2018 International truck with a trailer, eastbound in the outside lane of Highway 158.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Greer disregarded the stop sign at the intersection, causing him to strike the front of Tucker’s truck.
 
As a result, Greer sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
There was no word on the condition of Tucker.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
