22-Year-Old Fatally Injured in Denver Motorcycle Accident on Tower Road

 
DENVER, CO (December 12, 2024) — A rider died after a motorcycle accident on Tower Road on Monday, December 2.
 
According to the Commerce City Police Department, the incident involving a motorcycle and a semi-trailer happened at about 12:00 p.m. on Tower Road between Peña Boulevard and 96th Avenue.
 
The 22-year-old motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and later died. The Adams County Coroner’s Office will later release his identity, pending family notification.
 
There were no reports of other injuries in the incident.
 
Officials do not believe speed and intoxication were factors in the incident.
 
Authorities closed Tower Road in both directions for several hours following the crash.
 
The case remains under investigation.
