Rider Killed in Motorcycle Accident on 25 Freeway near Interquest Parkway

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (September 19, 2024) — A 51-year-old rider died in a motorcycle accident on 25 Freeway on Friday, August 30.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident occurred on 25 Freeway near Interquest Parkway exit at about 11:39 p.m.
 
Troopers said the crash involved the motorcycle, a Kia, and a blue Dodge Charger. They said the person behind the Dodge Charger drove aggressively and abruptly stopped. It caused the motorcycle rider to lose control and crash into a Kia.
 
Authorities later confirmed the rider sustained fatal injuries and died.
 
Officers closed the left and center lanes of northbound 25 Freeway for about three hours following the crash.
 
The investigation of the incident is still underway. CSP asks any additional witnesses to contact them through the Pueblo Regional Communication Center at 719-544-2424. They said the reference case number is 2B242676.
