Richard Wells Dies After Scotts Valley Crash on Kings Village Road

 
SCOTTS VALLEY, CA (January 31, 2024)Richard Wells of Santa Cruz County died after a crash in the 300 block of Kings Village Road on Saturday morning, January 27.

The fatal incident involved a white Subaru and an unoccupied sedan, according to the Scotts Valley Police Department which responded to the scene at around 8:40 a.m.

Officials stated that the Subaru, occupied by 63-year-old Wells, had been reportedly traveling in an erratic manner in the skate park parking lot, for reasons still unknown, when it slammed into the parked sedan.

According to police, Wells died at the scene.

Authorities are still looking into the cause and circumstances behind the accident.
