LAREDO, TX (March 27, 2023) – Laredo Police officers arrested 39-year-old Ricardo Medina following a multi-vehicle crash on Sierra Vista Boulevard on March 11.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Highway 83 around 3:20 AM. Based on a report, Medina was suspected of drunk driving at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Medina collided with three other vehicles.
 
As a result, two people suffered serious injuries in the incident.
 
Officers arrested Medina on the charge of intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury.
