CENTENNIAL, CO (September 3, 2024) — 62-year-old Reinaldo Aguilar died in a pedestrian accident on Monday, August 26.
 
According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office in a social media post on X at 10:55 a.m., the accident happened near Arapahoe Road and Holly Street.
 
In the post, deputies described it as a serious accident in a construction zone near Holly Park Pool and Tennis Center involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
 
At noon, authorities reported one person died at the scene. The Arapahoe County Corner’s Office identified the deceased on Tuesday afternoon as Reinaldo Aguilar.
 
The incident caused closure for both northbound lanes of South Holly Street at East Arapahoe Road. Authorities reopened shortly after 1:00 p.m.
