Raymond Smith Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Old Spanish Trail at Pistol Hill Road in Pima County
PIMA COUNTY, AZ (October 6, 2023) – Pima County Sheriff’s deputies identified 57-year-old Raymond Smith who died in a motorcycle crash on Old Spanish Trail on September 30.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Pistol Hill Road around 7:45 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving uphill prior to the crash.
At the same time, a car was in the same lane, heading in opposite direction. At that point, a crash occurred.
As a result, Smith suffered serious injuries and later died at the hospital.
The driver of the car had minor injuries.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
