Ramon Saucedo Jr. Killed in Pedestrian Accident in San Antonio

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 15, 2024) – San Antonio Police identified 40-year-old Ramon Saucedo Jr. who was struck and killed in an accident in the 6900 block of Northwest Loop 410 Access Road on January 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 11:20 PM. Based on a report, Saucedo was standing in the back of a black 2007 Ford Explorer and getting a car jack out of the bed of the truck. The Ford had the hazard lights on and was on the side of the access road.
 
Police said the victim was helping another driver fix a flat tire. At that point, a red 2001 Mitsubishi Galant hit him and the Ford.
 
As a result, Saucedo suffered grave injuries in the incident. Crews transported the victim to the hospital, where he later died.
 
The driver of the Mitsubishi was not intoxicated and not distracted by his mobile communication device.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
