Pedestrian Struck and Seriously Injured by Road Rage Driver on East 62nd Avenue in Commerce City
COMMERCE CITY, CO (January 14, 2025) – The Commerce City Police Department confirmed that a pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run in the 6200 block of East 62nd Avenue on January 8.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened around 10:00 AM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was walking on the road at the time of the incident.
Due to unknown reasons, he got into a road rage altercation with a passing car. Subsequently, the driver of the car intentionally hit the pedestrian before fleeing the scene.
As a result, the victim suffered serious injuries in the incident.
Police found and impounded the car, but investigators were not yet able to identify the road rage driver.
