SEATTLE, WA (February 6, 2025) — A 39-year-old man died in a hit-and-run crash on Northwest Market Street on Saturday, February 1.
 
According to the Seattle Police Department, the incident happened around 1:21 a.m. at Northwest Market Street and 15th Avenue Northwest.
 
Witnesses said a pickup truck traveled east on Northwest Market Street. Then it struck the pedestrian. After the collision, the driver fled the scene without checking on the victim.
 
Bystanders attempted to help the severely injured man before the emergency responders arrived. Then paramedics transported him to Harborview Medical Center, where he later died from sustained injuries.
