Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Hit-and-Run on Las Vegas Boulevard and Williams Avenue

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (December 3, 2024) — A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run on Las Vegas Boulevard on Monday, November 18.
 
According to the North Las Vegas Police, the incident occurred at around 4:58 a.m. near Las Vegas Boulevard and Williams Avenue.
 
Police said a 48-year-old man tried to cross Las Vegas Boulevard North at Wiliams Avenue on a crosswalk. Then a speeding Lexus traveling northbound failed to yield to the pedestrian.
 
The man sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Police said the driver did not check on the victim and fled before officers could arrive.
 
North Las Vegas police described the suspect vehicle as a black 2007-2009 Lexus LS 460. In addition, they said the vehicle sustained significant front and left front damage.
 
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the cause and manner of death and the identification of the deceased after family notification.
