LYNNWOOD, WA (November 14, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run on Highway 99 on October 30.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 164th Street Southwest just before 7:00 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the victim and another pedestrian in the lanes.
 
The driver fled the scene, and troopers do not have a vehicle description yet.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release the deceased’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Paramedics transported the other pedestrian to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
