Pedestrian Dies, Another Suffers Injuries as Motorist Ends Up Arrested After Los Angeles Crash on Eastern Avenue and Randolph Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 4, 2025) – A pedestrian died while another sustained injuries following a crash on Eastern Avenue and Randolph Street on Saturday night, February 22.

The fatal incident occurred at around 11:20 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials stated that an allegedly stolen Chrysler 300, driven by a 33-year-old man, had been speeding while attempting to evade pursuing law enforcement.

The Chrysler then slammed into a Chevrolet Cruze before hitting two pedestrians at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Randolph Street.

The accident left one of the stricken pedestrians dead.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Chevrolet, along with the other pedestrian, survived but suffered unspecified injuries.

Authorities are still working on determining the cause and circumstances behind the collision.

As the investigation remains in progress, no further information is released at this time.
