Denver RTD Bus Accident on 18th Street and Lawrence Street
DENVER, CO (August 22, 2024) — A pedestrian sustained injuries in a Regional Transportation District bus accident on Thursday, August 8.
According to the Denver Police Department in a 4:42 p.m. post on X, the crash took place at 18th Street and Lawrence Street near Union Station.
Officers have not yet released the events that led to the incident. However, they have confirmed that a pedestrian was seriously hurt in the crash.
As of writing, there are no reports of whether impairment, speed, or weather conditions played as a factor in the incident.
Authorities said motorists may experience traffic delays in the area. In addition, they advised them to take alternate routes.
