According to the Longmont police, the accident occurred in a parking lot behind 333 Main Street near 3rd Avenue.

Longmont Public Safety spokeswoman Robin Ericson said a man walked through the parking lot. Then a driver reversed and struck the man’s right side. After that, the driver parked his car, got out with a dog, and went in.

The victim suffered a minor injury and did not require an ambulance.

Police reviewed the surveillance footage and a license plate number. They are currently trying to contact the driver, said Ericson.
