Pedestrian, Dog Fatally Struck in Car Accident on Kings Row

 
RENO, NV (August 26, 2024) — A pedestrian and a dog died in a car accident on Kings Row on Sunday, August 18.
 
According to the Reno Police, the fatal accident happened on Kings Row near Mc Donald Drive shortly before 7:15 p.m.
 
Reno police said the vehicle traveled west on Kings Row. Then it hit the unidentified pedestrian walking their dog and crossing Kings Row.
 
Authorities said the dog was also hit and succumbed to sustained injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the pedestrian died later at a nearby medical center.
 
Police say the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
