PHOENIX, AZ (September 25, 2023) – Phoenix Police detectives identified 28-year-old Parker Palmer who died in a pedestrian accident on 24th Avenue on September 14.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Peoria Avenue around 2:50 AM. Based on a report, Palmer was crossing the northbound side of the road at an uncontrolled intersection when the crash happened.
 
At that point, a vehicle traveling eastbound on Peoria Avenue struck him.
 
As a result, Palmer sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The vehicle involved in the collision remained on scene. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
