Osvaldo Lopez-Boudet Identified in Fatal Semi-Truck Crash in Moore County

 
MOORE COUNTY, TX (October 5, 2024) – Authorities identified 54-year-old Osvaldo Lopez-Boudet of Dumas who died in a head-on crash on Highway 287 on September 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 7:00 AM. Based on a report, Lopez-Boudet was driving a 2004 Honda Civic southbound on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2007 Kenworth semi-truck towing a trailer was northbound on the same road.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Lopez-Boudet traveled into the northbound lane and struck the semi-truck head-on.
As a result, Lopez-Boudet suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt in the incident.
