AVONDALE, AZ (April 3, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one person died in an accident on 10 Freeway on March 26.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at the Avondale Boulevard exit around 9:30 PM. Based on a report, a car rear-ended another vehicle in the lanes.
 
After the initial crash, both drivers got out of their cars and were standing in the middle of the lane prior to the accident. Due to unknown reasons, a third car came and hit them.
 
As a result, one driver suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the third vehicle was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
