Man Hurt in Bicycle Accident on West Ina Road

 
TUCSON, AZ (February 21, 2025) — One person suffered injuries in a bicycle accident on West Ina Road on Wednesday, February 19.
 
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred near West Ina Road and North La Cholla Boulevard. They said a truck hit a bicyclist in the area.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the scene. Then they transported the injured cyclist to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel later confirmed that while the man remains in critical condition. In addition, they said his injuries are no longer considered life-threatening.
 
Officials have not yet disclosed the circumstances leading to the crash. There are no reports yet of whether speed or impairment played a role in the incident.
 
The identities of both the bicyclist and the driver were not immediately available.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the incident. There were no reports of any charges at this time.
