EL PASO, TX (November 2, 2022) – One person suffered serious injuries in an accident on in the 1700 block of Hawthorne Street on October 31.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near the UTEP campus at Schuster Avenue around 2:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. Prior to that, the El Paso Police Department said that one of the vehicles was stopped at a red light. However, it is not clear what caused the other vehicle to hit it.
 
As a result, one person had major injuries in the incident. Subsequently, emergency crews took the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
