One Person Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Rancho Drive

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 11, 2023) — A person suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Rancho Drive on Sunday, November 26.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, officers responded to a crash at about 9:10 p.m. on Rancho Drive south of the Ann Road northbound off-ramp.
 
NSP’s initial investigation determined that a pedestrian walked across the northbound travel lanes of Rancho Drive. Then a Kia Spectra moving northbound on Rancho Drive struck the pedestrian.
 
The pedestrian died at the scene. Authorities have not released their identity and city of residence.
 
There are no reports if speed or impairment played a role in the crash.
 
The incident marks NSP Southern Command’s 70th fatal accident.
