CHANDLER, AZ (January 27, 2025) – Authorities confirmed that one person died in a crash on 10 Freeway on January 17.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened on the freeway’s eastbound lanes at Queen Creek Road. Based on a report, two vehicles were involved in the wreck.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Authorities did not release the deceased’s identity, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Fire crews closed the eastbound lanes of the freeway for several hours as they worked to clear the scene.
