Fatal Car Accident on South Craig Road at West McFarlane Road in Airway Heights
AIRWAY HEIGHTS, WA (January 25, 2023) – Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies confirmed that one person died in a car accident on South Craig Road on January 16.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near West McFarlane Road just before 5:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving an SUV north on Craig prior to the crash.
While attempting to pass another car in a no-pass zone, another vehicle traveling south appeared. The victim lost control, left the roadway, and struck a power pole.
As a result, the victim, an adult female passenger, and a toddler suffered injuries in the incident. Spokane fire crews took them to the hospital, where the victim died.
As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
