Fatal Ride-Sharing Crash on 4th Avenue in Seattle

 
SEATTLE, WA (April 7, 2023) – The Seattle Police Department confirmed that one person died in a car crash on 4th Avenue South on March 26.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at South Massachusetts Street around 1:30 AM. Based on a report, a rideshare vehicle carrying six passengers collided with another car.
 
Authorities said the car was the one at fault in the incident.
 
As a result, the Seattle Fire Department found one person trapped inside the car.
 
Despite life-saving measures, the 27-year-old man died at Harborview Medical Center. Police did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
All six occupants of the rideshare vehicle sustained minor injuries. Crews took them to Harborview Medical Center for further evaluation.
 
As of now, the SPD’s Traffic Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the incident.
