Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on West Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 15, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on West Spring Mountain Road on January 4.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Edmond Street around 4:08 PM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was crossing West Spring Mountain Road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a Buick Verano that was attempting to make a turn in a center lane hit him.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to UMC, where he later died. Officials did not release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver stayed and cooperated with the police. Officers did not suspect impairment in this case.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
