Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 199 in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (April 2, 2024) – The Fort Worth Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 199 on March 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at Ten Mile Azle Road around 8:40 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the pedestrian in the lanes.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officers did not yet release the deceased’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
The Traffic Investigations Unit did not say if the driver of the vehicle faced any charges.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
