SUN CITY, AZ (April 3, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Grand Avenue on March 26.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 103rd Avenue. Based on a report, the victim was running into oncoming traffic at the time of the crash.
 
The pedestrian was across Grand Avenue near 103rd Avenue while traffic had a green light. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit the victim.
 
As a result, the person suffered grave injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
