Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on 8th Street at Allred Avenue in Odessa

 
ODESSA, TX (July 2, 2024) – The Odessa Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 8th Street on June 8.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Allred Avenue around 1:35 AM. Based on a report, the victim was in the roadway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a black Ford F-150 traveling westbound on East 8th Street struck the victim.
 
As a result, the person suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. The Ector County Medical Examiner’s Office did not release the deceased’s identity, pending notification of next of kin.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
