AUSTIN, TX (October 31, 2023) – The Travis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died in a crash on West Parmer Lane on October 22.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Corpus Christi Drive shortly after 3:30 PM. Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes. ATCEMS and the Sheriff’s Office responded but did not release details that led to the crash near McNeil High School.
 
As a result, EMS pronounced one adult dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
 
They took another person to St. David’s North Austin Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
TCSO advised residents to expect road closures and significant delays due to the wreck.
