Fatality Reported After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20

 
DALLAS, TX (February 26, 2025) – One person died following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 on Sunday, February 16.
 
According to the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department, the incident happened around 1:30 a.m.
 
For reasons still unknown, a tractor-trailer and multiple vehicles figured in a collision. The impact caused the tractor-trailer to fall off the highway ramp and onto the ground before catching fire, police said. When the tractor-trailer fell on the ground, it struck another truck below, police added.
 
The driver of the other truck died at the scene, authorities confirmed.
 
Investigation into the incident remains open and active.
