Fatal Motorcycle Accident on East Quincy Avenue in Aurora

 
AURORA, CO (October 10, 2024) – The Aurora Police Department confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on East Quincy Avenue on October 2.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at Buckley Road just after 2:00 PM. Based on a report, the motorcyclist was headed west on Quincy Avenue before the crash.
 
At the same time, another vehicle was turning at the intersection. Due to unknown reasons, the two collided.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Authorities did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the car sustained minor injuries. Emergency crews the victim to the hospital for treatment.
 
Crews also closed the westbound lanes of Quincy Avenue while they worked on the crash.
