Fatal Motorcycle Accident on 40 Freeway in Kingman

 
KINGMAN, AZ (November 6, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on 40 Freeway on October 15.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 8:30 PM. Based on a report, the motorcyclist was stopped on the shoulder of the eastbound side of the freeway before the crash.
 
Subsequently, the victim pulled from the shoulder and merged into the second lane, in front of an approaching commercial vehicle. The commercial vehicle then rear-ended the motorcycle, ejecting the rider from the motorcycle.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Authorities did not release the rider’s name, pending notification of next of kind.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
