One Hospitalized after Broomfield Pedestrian Accident on 120th Avenue and Lamar Street

 
BROOMFIELD, CO (June 20, 2024) — One person sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on 120th Avenue on Wednesday, June 5.
 
According to a post by Broomfield police on X at around 10:46 p.m., the incident took place near West 120th Avenue and Lamar Street.
 
Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. As of writing, the extent of the condition of the pedestrian is not yet available.
 
The driver stayed on scene and also cooperated with the investigation.
 
After the incident, police shut down West 120th Avenue eastbound from Lamar Street to Chase Street. They then reopened the road at about 1:00 a.m. Thursday.
 
There are no reports whether alcohol and/or speed played a role in the incident.
 
The investigation of the accident is still underway.
