LUBBOCK, TX (January 4, 2022) – The Lubbock Police Department confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on 19th Street on December 24.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Avenue Q. Based on a report, the pedestrian was outside the Whataburger restaurant prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Emergency crews transported the victim by ambulance to University Medical Center for treatment.
